  • Chris Romano

    Website Bio: Chris (Cristoforo) Romano Owner: Atlanta Strength & Conditioning Owner: CrossFit Vesuvio Owner: Atlanta Fitness Factory Coach Chris has over 8 years of fitness coaching and personal training experience. He has coached and trained all levels of fitness from professional and Olympic athletes, Collegiate and high school athletes to clients who have lost over 100 Lbs and senior clients looking to just keep moving and performing daily living tasks on their own. Coaching highlights include 3 clients losing over 100Lbs of body fat, coaching Olympic weightlifting for Walton High School football players (where Chris went to high school), having athletes qualify for Weightlifting Nationals, the CrossFit Games, earn D1 College Athletic Scholarships, and several clients being able to reduce or get away from medications through fitness and nutrition programs. He has experience coaching clients ages 4 through 81 years old. (Chris’s son Lee became the youngest American ever to compete in a sanctioned USAW weightlifting meet, and set the U5 at age 4). Chris is one of the most certified if not the most certified personal trainer and fitness coach in the Metro Atlanta Area as well as the Southeast. Chris has been named on of the few Master Fitness Trainers worldwide by the International Sports Science Association (ISSA), which is the highest level a fitness coach / personal trainer can achieve. Chris coaches the majority of our Personal Training and Sport Specific clients, coaches all of our STAC (Strength & Conditioning Classes), some of our CrossFit classes, conducts all of our fitness and nutrition consultations, and programs for all of our class offerings with the exception of our Barbell Club. He skied Alpine for the US Ski Team for 3 seasons, becoming the first American Skier over the age of 30 to bring home a FIS crystal globe finishing in 3rd place overall for the season. After moving back to Atlanta Chris took up CrossFit and eventually weightlifting, where he competes on Team USA in his second sport currently, winning the Silver Medal in the 2017 Pan American Weightlifting Championships un Santo Domingo, DR, bronze medal in the 2017 American Open Series 2 in Miami, and Silver medal in the 2017 American Masters Championship in Savannah all in the 94Kg weight class. In 2018 Chris cut 22 Lbs to compete as an 85kg lifter, finishing 4th in the 2018 Arnold Classic/ American Open in Ohio, and 5th In the National Championships in Buffalo. Chris is competing on Team USA again in 2018, at the Pan Americans in Gaspe, Quebec and World Championships in Barcelona.
  • Christine Argo

    Christine was introduced to kettlebell training by Senior SFG, Delaine Ross at her Atlanta facility, Condition Kettlebell Gym in December of 2009, and fell in love. In a few short months working with Delaine and her team, Christine shed about 20 pounds of fat and later added lean muscle using nothing but kettlebells and proper diet! She is an SFG through Strong First and one of our expert coaches when it comes to the kettlebell. Christine is a project manager with a national construction company and lives in Vinings.

    Eisel Lorenzo, "Ace," brings life to our early morning classes.
  • Luis Santiago

    Luis coaches our Monday classes and has completed his CrossFit Level 1 Cert.
  • JoJo Harrison

    JoJo Harrison is from Eastman, GA. He has played baseball collegiately at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He has now moved to the coaching side of baseball at Coastal Stars Baseball Academy for high school baseball teams across GA. Jojo Started doing Crossfit in 2014 and has competed in several local competitions. His favorite thing about Crossfit is the functional movements that help him take on life. Jojo will be taking the L-1 trainers course in August.

  • Michael MacLean

    Mike is a American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, and has his Masters Degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire. Before coaching CrossFit, Mike competed as a Division One Track athlete at the University of Rhode Island. Here he entered as a 400-meter specialist and trained up to become a Decathlete. Mike has played a variety of sports including varsity football, basketball, lacrosse, and club Rugby. Mike has turned his need to train for something competitively to Crossfit, as he has competed in several competitions in New England in both individual and team categories. Mike recently moved down to Georgia to attend Life University, and begin their chiropractic program. He enjoys all Boston Sports teams, running, board games, and music.
